The Big Al’s bacon cheeseburger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Ordered one to go when I was done. Staff was super friendly and the food came out quickly.

Great little spot in Pittsboro. I just love the atmosphere of local diners and this one didn't disappoint. Dogs were solid. Amazing flavor from the slaw. The dog, chili and bun could all have been a touch warmer but all had good flavor. Really liked the fries. I'll be back.

Great diner in downtown Pittsboro, I had been wanting to go for years and today on my way home I finally decided to. It was a smart choice. I had excellent service and the food reminded me of what diners do best. Make delicious food without over-complicating it.

I drive by this place two times a day five times a week and it's always busy there. I had an unexpected half day on Friday and thought I'd stop by for some lunch and see what all the fuss was about. The food couldn't have tasted any better and the staff was so friendly and nice. Fantastic experience. Fan for Life.

I had a tasty big hot pancake today that was less than $4. The tenderloin was fried crispy and delicious. We had the works breakfast in a bowl sausage, grits,cheese, onions and 2 eggs over easy.

If you feel like having some food that will make you ask yourself, "how did they make this so good" then, this is the diner for you. I cannot help but try something different every time I visit. As soon as I see something good and delicious on my plate, my friend will have something on his plate that looks even tastier. I could live at Al's Diner!! This is where the Sheriffs Dept eats so you know it's the best breakfast in town!!

I love my orders whether it's my country fried steak and cheese biscuit. Or my cheeseburger with fries and always their jumbo sweet tea! The staff always greet you with a smile and a hello! It's always clean inside and out! I've met a lot of nice people at Als' Diner!
